GG/TVD Crossover | Damon, Dan, and Blair caught in a love triangle

Spotted: B caught in between two handsome suitors. Will she choose eternity with tall, dark and dangerous? Or perhaps she’ll seek immortality through the words of the brooding poet. All I know is… D is the sexiest letter.

He’s mind-numbingly situated by the stool all alone at the bar of the loft, his Dad is off to somewhere, celebrating his own Christmas Eve, God knows where.  Is there any better way to celebrate Christmas Eve? But to be with someone you dear, someone you love, except if that someone chose not to celebrate it with you.
He’s blankly staring at the tiny marsh mallows floating on his hot chocolate. It’s his favorite; it’s a tradition in fact. But he’d wish to change it, even just a little bit- to share it with someone special. His mind is wandering off the nothingness and can’t believe the fact that his girlfriend won’t be celebrating Christmas with him. It’s sad, just the thought…it’s miserable. She said she couldn’t because her mom will be home and she misses her mom…well, who is he to compete? It’s just bad timing, and very unfortunate for him.  He’s still glad though, that he was able to have breakfast with her that morning, and was able to give his gift.  It was a scarf…a red one, with a gold border on both ends, something Blair Waldorf wouldn’t wear and all she talked about the whole time was how cheap- looking it was, though he knows she was just mocking him. He saw a glittering smile when he put it on her and she gave him a peck on the cheek.
“Thank you Dan” he recalled how she said it so softly and sweet. He caught himself smiling alone and realized how foolish he was for a second there…it’s really out of this world how Blair Waldorf drive him crazy.
He took a nip from the cup of chocolate; he hears a screech from the door in front of him. His eyes widened with amusement…it’s her, the girl that was in her mind a few seconds ago. He took a gulp of air in his mouth, and he can still taste the remainder of the chocolate, but now there’s nothing else much sweeter than the sight in front of him.
“You finished your chocolate without me” She smiled walking towards him. He stood up from the stool and meets her.
“I thought you’re…why are you here?” Dan couldn’t believe and now he’s smiling like a fool. Blair seems to enjoy seeing him like this, stuttering….smiling like an idiot. She knows her effect on him.
“What made you think I wouldn’t want to spend Christmas with you…my boyfriend?” She said with a devilish grin.
“It’s on you” Dan pointed out the scarf he gave her.
“Well, I was wearing this the whole time it took me to get here and I think someone just took a picture of me, it’ll be over the tabloids tomorrow, how Blair Waldorf went from Paris Couture to Brooklyn hand me down.” She said. Dan let out a giggle.
“Well I think it suits you.”
Blair closed the gap between them and kissed him. It was soft, slow and it was addiction for both of them. She could taste the chocolate in his mouth and she couldn’t help but smile.
“What?” Dan asked with curiosity,
“Nothing…you’re sweet…” they both laughed. They just stood there for a while, lovingly.
“Why did you change your mind?” Dan asked.
“I didn’t.” …
“I wanted to surprise you, it’s our first Christmas together, and why would I miss it for the world? …you’re the best gift that’s ever happened to me Dan.” Blair whispered, resting her forehead on his, and that instant Dan was in cloud nine. He feels exactly the same.
It’s the Best Christmas, he thought.
